Buckeyes corral Reba for two 2008 concerts

210×149_rebaOhioans love Reba McEntire, and apparently the feeling is mutual.  The country superstar embarks on a 15-city concert tour next week beginning—where else?—Dayton, Ohio, where she’ll share the stage with good friend Kelly Clarkson, Idol’s first champ and a two-time Grammy winner.  Kelly left her management team last year to sign with Reba’s agent (and husband), Narvel Blackstock, who runs Starstruck Entertainment.  She and Reba are nominated for a 2008 Grammy for their duet, Because of You.  The singers will perform at Nutter Center on the campus of Wright State University, Thursday, January 17, and tickets are on-sale for the 12,500-seat venue, so act fast if you plan to attend.  Maybe warmer weather suits you better?  Then catch Reba at Jamboree in the Hills, the “Super Bowl of country music,” two hours south in St. Clairsville, OH on July 19.  It’s a four-day outdoor music festival that for 32 years has attracted the genre’s top legends—which this summer include Loretta Lynn, Brooks & Dunn, Trace Adkins, Reba and more!  Recently named Billboard magazine’s first-ever Woman of the Year, Reba has scored 33 #1 hits and sold over 50-million records.  Her far-reaching talents include the CW comedy series, Reba, an afternoon fixture on WBNX.  The redhead songstress doesn’t tour as much as she used to, so her two Buckeye concerts in 2008 are a rare chance to see this generation’s reigning music queen
