Smallville will need only 19 episodes next season (a full order is typically 22) to surpass Stargate SG-1 as the "Longest Consecutive Running Sci-Fi TV Show in U.S. History," a milestone registered in the Guinness World Records book. Stargate finished its ten year run with 218 episodes.

Craig Robinson (Darryl on The Office) costars with Sebastian Stan (Carter on Gossip Girl) in one of the year's kitschiest comedies, Hot Tub Time Machine, debuting in theatres March 26.

At 16, Zach Roerig (Matt on The Vampire Diaries) drove from Montpelier to Cleveland every weekend to study at a small boutique acting school, he tells TeenVogue. "It's actually the school that Sean Faris (Ben) started out at, and that's how I knew him before he came on the show. Then three days after high school, I took off for New York."

Katie Cassidy (Ella on Melrose Place) has a lead role in the new horror film A Nightmare on Elm Street, premiering April 30.

Josh Schwartz (executive producer of Gossip Girl) has agreed to remake two memorable '80s films, Bright Lights, Big City and Endless Love. You can see Michael J. Fox and Kiefer Sutherland in the original Bright Lights movie, March 20 at 2pm on WBNX
