Kimberly Williams-Paisley currently co-stars in the hit sitcom According to Jim, in which she plays the character of sister-in-law Dana.
Williams-Paisley's film credits include How to Eat Fried Worms, Eden Court and We Are Marshall.
She also recently wrote, directed and starred with Patrick Dempsey in the short film Shade, for which she won the Director's Choice Award for Outstanding Directing and Acting at the Sedona International Film Festival. She is editing a second short, Numero Dos, which was shot in New Orleans.
The native of Rye, New York, first lit up the screen as the radiant young bride, Annie Banks, in Father of the Bride, winning the role while she was a sophomore at Northwesten University in Evanston, Illinois. After graduation, she recreated the role in the 1995 sequel, Father of the Bride Part II.
Her busy career over the last fifteen years includes such credits as Lucky Seven, Identity Theft, Follow the Stars Home, The Christmas Shoes, Relativity, and The Tenth Kingdom.
Williams-Paisley made her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning The Last Night at Ballyhoo and has appeared on stage in The Vagina Monologues, All in the Timing and Speed the Plow.
Williams-Paisley has also established her creativity outside the performing arena as a published writer for such publications as InStyle and Redbook magazines. Outside of the performing arts, the actress is actively involved with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research, St. Jude Hospital and the XP Foundation.
She is married to country music artist Brad Paisley, and has appeared in his award-winning music video “I'm Gonna Miss Her.”
