About the Show
Dr. Drew's Lifechangers is a daily, half-hour, studio-based daytime TV talk show hosted by one of America's favorite relationship experts and board-certified internist, Dr. Drew Pinsky. The show offers tangible tools and takeaway information to help viewers improve every area of their lives, with each episode including a personal story about someone in conflict. Topics range from love and relationships to health to a wide range of compulsions like shopping, hoarding, or extreme texting. Dr. Drew will also go out into the field - providing real-time feedback and help.
Dr. Drew will also call on his mega list of top-notch experts in a variety of fields who will answer questions from the in-studio audience and home viewers via live chat, LCTV.com, Twitter or Facebook offering instant advice. Celebrity Lifechangers will also make appearances to give back and pay it forward by sharing personal stories. They will reveal their own challenges that helped shape them or help a special guest achieve their goals.
Dr. Drew Pinsky, M.D. is a practicing physician and Board Certified in Internal and Addiction Medicine. He's also considered a "relationship expert" because of his 28 year run as host of the nationally syndicated Loveline radio program. Dr. Drew is also a member of the staff at Huntington Memorial Hospital and Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Keck USC School of Medicine. Pinsky is the author of the New York Times bestsellers The Mirror Effect: How Celebrity Narcissism is Seducing America and Cracked: Putting Broken Lives Together Again.
Pinsky received his undergraduate degree from Amherst College and his M.D. from the University of Southern California, School of Medicine, and remained at USC for his residency. He then became chief resident at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the California Medical Association, the American Society of Internal Medicine and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
In addition to Dr. Drew's Lifechangers, Pinsky is the host of Dr. Drew on HLN and Loveline, where he's been taking calls from listeners since 1984. Pinsky also appeared in Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, and Sober House on Vh1, which chronicles the struggle for sobriety and the cycle of addictive disorders.

Ian Somerhalder may play a bad-boy monster on The Vampire Diaries, but off-screen he's a passionate defender of animal life. He'll receive the prestigious Wyler Award next month at the Humane Society of America's 26th annual Genesis Awards ceremony. Ian is being honored for his committed efforts using traditional and social media to campaign about critical animal welfare issues.
