Reggie Hayes portrays William Dent, Joan's best friend and former colleague as well as the "honorary girlfriend," in The CW's hit comedy Girlfriends.
Hayes' television experience includes a series regular role in Getting Personal, as well as guest-starring roles in The Twilight Zone, Will & Grace, Party of Five, Roswell, Married … with Children, Then Came You, Grown Ups, Something So Right, The Pretender and Space: Above and Beyond.
Hayes' feature film credits include Being John Malkovich, A Family Thing and Hellcab.
On stage, Hayes has appeared in Chicago productions of Chicago Conspiracy Trial, Hellcab Does Christmas, Bang the Drum Slowly, Othello, Five Times Noh, Any Place but Here, Less Than Equal, Native Speech, No One Goes Mad, Inspecting Carol and Richard II, as well as numerous other Shakespeare productions as a member of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival.
A Chicago native, Hayes studied acting in high school and college. He attended Northwestern Military Naval Academy and Illinois State University, from which he graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in theater.
