Emiliano Díez began his career in 1976 in theatre and television in his native Havana. In 1980 he immigrated to Miami, where he resumed his acting career, doing numerous popular plays like Blithe Spirit, La Cage Aux Folles, Rose Tattoo and many others. His work also encompasses radio and television commercials, as well as the soap operas El Magnate, Marielena and Guadalupe. And, for two seasons, he played the lead in the award-winning sitcom, Los Beltr?.

As an established actor, Diez has crossed over into the American market, guest starring in Everybody Loves Raymond, Yes, Dear, MDs, Manhattan, AZ, The Brothers Garcia and nine episodes of the daytime drama Passions. He also appeared on SeaQuest DSV, Fortune Hunter and Sins of the City. Additional television credits include the miniseries Nostromo and the telefilm Sudden Terror: The Hijacking of School Bus #17.
