Luis Garcia plays Max Lopez, George's son, in George Lopez. His work in television includes a guest appearance on ER, Any Day Now, a Chevy commercial and a national PSA for seatbelt safety.
A few years ago Luis won in "Disneyland's celebrity contest" the honor of having his George Lopez depiction of Mickey Mouse created into a six-foot statue which toured the United States.
Luis was born in La Grange, Illinois, and is one of six children. He maintains an A average scholastically and plays half-back and linebacker in football. He is also an avid paintballer and golfer.
Luis sponsors charities including the Make a Wish Foundation, the American Heart Association and his personal foundation, Hands on Horses, which benefits American Foster Children.
