Most young actors and actresses begin their careers after months, often years, of auditions and cattle calls before their star begins to shine. Not for then four-year-old Parker when, at the suggestion of her manager, she went on her first ever audition: My Wife and Kids. She nailed the audition, and the rest—in true Hollywood fashion—is history.
Parker can be seen in The Rugby Bunch, Old Navy's megawatt ad campaign. A guest appearance on NYPD Blue tested her dramatic acting chops and won her rave reviews. She also appeared as a young Macy Gray in Gray's video "Sweet, Sweet Baby."
In recognition of her outstanding performance on My Wife and Kids, Parker was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Actress.
Parker spends her time off taking care of her growing stable of pets, a hamster, a rat, a fish and two cats. And like most young girls, she likes to shop, ride her scooter, swim with her friends and dance to the sounds of Shakira, Britney or the latest boy band.
