Before his role on the hit series Still Standing, Mark Addy was best known for his role in the 1997 box-office hit film The Full Monty, which received a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast.
Prior to his American television debut, Addy starred in the British television series The Rita, A Very Peculiar Practice, Between the Lines, Band of Gold, The Heart Surgeon, as well as the comedy The Thin Blue Line.
Addy's additional feature film credits include The Order, A Knight's Tale, The Time Machine, Down to Earth, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, Jack Frost, The Last Yellow and The Announcement.
He was born in and lives in York, England with his wife and daughter.
